Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Synth-AV (the "Service"), including the web studio at app.synthav.io and the website at synthav.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service Does

Synth-AV generates product videos from your connected e-commerce store's catalog. Videos are built from your store's product data and images, with scripts, narration, and motion graphics assembled automatically — including by artificial-intelligence systems — according to the templates, colors, voices, and instructions you select.

3. Your Content and Your Rights to It

You retain all rights to the product data, images, text, logos, audio, and other materials you connect to or upload into the Service ("Your Content"). You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to use Your Content, including product photos and any audio used for voice cloning. You grant us a limited licence to process Your Content for the sole purpose of operating the Service — generating, storing, and delivering your videos.

You may not use the Service to create content that is defamatory, misleading, infringes intellectual-property rights, or violates the terms of the e-commerce platforms you connect.

4. AI-Generated Output

Videos produced by the Service contain AI-assembled elements: scripts, narration (including voices designed or cloned with your input), and motion graphics. Product imagery is taken from Your Content and is not generated. Output may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing a video before publishing it. We do not guarantee that generated videos will achieve any particular commercial result.

If you use voice design or voice cloning, you confirm you have the right to the voice or recording you provide, and that the narration will not be used to impersonate any real person without their consent.

5. Connected Stores

The Service integrates with Shopify, WooCommerce, and Gumroad. When you connect a store, you authorise us to read the product data and images needed to generate your videos. Store credentials are stored encrypted and used only for that purpose. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own terms; we are not responsible for third-party downtime or changes.

6. Credits, Payments & Refunds

The Service operates on a pay-as-you-go credit system. Credits are purchased in packs (processed by our payment provider, Gumroad) and do not expire. Credits have no cash value and are not transferable.

• Previewing storyboards is free.
• The 480p draft render is free.
• 720p and 1080p final renders are charged in credits at the rates shown in the app.
• If a render fails for technical reasons on our side, the credits for that render are refunded automatically.

Purchases are handled by Gumroad and are final except where required by applicable law. EU/UK consumers retain any statutory withdrawal rights that apply to digital-content purchases.

7. Intellectual Property

All app interfaces, logos, software, templates, and underlying technology are the exclusive property of Synth-AV. Except for Your Content and the videos generated for you, you may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the Service. You may use, publish, and share the videos generated from Your Content without restriction.

8. Availability

The Service runs on third-party cloud infrastructure. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Failed renders are automatically refunded as described in Section 6.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or harms other users or the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time; unused credits remain available if you return, subject to Section 6.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Synth-AV and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the current revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
